Laurel Falls:

Laurel Falls just so happens to be just about everyone’s favorite waterfall in Great Smoky Mountains National Park. This trail has a steady incline that offers a paved road, allowing younger families the opportunity to bring their strollers and little ones, and a chance for older families to take their time without intense footing. The trail itself is around 2.5 miles round-trip. The fact that Laurel Falls is the only paved hiking trail in the Smokies definitely makes it popular, however, other qualities make Laurel Falls high on everyone’s hiking list. Once you reach the top you will find the beautiful splashings of a powerful fall. A small narrow bridge allows you to cross the upper cropping and take a seat to cool your feet off in the natural pool.
