1. Zipline Tour
Most zipline tours in the Smokies are about one to three hours in length. The majority of area zip line companies will advertise that they cater to a variety of people ranging from beginners to expert adventurers. Every zipline company has a “canopy experience” featured on their activities menu, but a few that stand out to us are Adventure Park Zip Lines, Legacy Mountain Zip Lines, and Anakeesta.
2. Drive Through the Mountains
The Foothills Parkway is a breathtaking scenic drive that puts you along the skyline of panoramic vistas in as little as 15 minutes from our cabins in Wears Valley! This drive is ideal for those who are interested in wanting to see the stars, waking up early for a sunrise picnic, trying their hand at photography, or having a romantic drive in the mountains. Cades Cove is another favorite scenic drive we recommend that is also a short distance from our Wears Valley cabins.
3. Enjoy a Leisurely Hike
Great Smoky Mountains National Park offers over 800 miles of hiking trails that are yours to explore! For spring hikes we recommend Trillium Gap Trail and Laurel Falls Trail. These trails will offer several wildflowers along your way and plenty of photographic opportunities (and a little wildlife).
