1 – Cades Cove
Cades Cove has a motor trail called Cades Cove Loop Road and it is about 11 miles long and can take anywhere from two to four hours to complete. There’s plenty of foliage and wildlife to admire. *Per the park rangers’ behest, please refrain from taking your pets to any of the historic structures along the loop.
2. – The Gatlinburg Trail
The Gatlinburg Trail is the only pet-friendly trail in Great Smoky Mountains National Park where you are able to leash and walk your doggo. The trailhead starts at the Sugarlands Visitor Center and is about 1.9 miles long. You’ll see ruins, a bridge, and the Little Pigeon River. *Please do not leave droppings in the park- pick them up immediately and dispose of them properly to avoid unwanted wildlife activity.
3. Gatlinburg Sky Lift
YEP. You can take your brave doggo with you on the Gatlinburg Sky Lift. Ride all the way up and all the way back down again. Just keep your good boy leashed the entire time.
4. Smoky Mountain River Rat
