Above the Clouds is a beautiful log cabin rental near Gatlinburg with a nice view of the Smoky Mountains. In this private location, you can enjoy a relaxing time in the hot tub on the back deck looking at the view of the mountains. Inside the cabin, enjoy a nice movie on the flat screen television or play a game of pool. This cabin features 2 King master bedroom suites, both with TV, Full Bath and Jacuzzi Tub. Perfect for two couples trying to get away and relax. Kitchen is fully equipped and The living room features a Pool Table and Flat Screen TV. Above the Clouds is a wheelchair accessible cabin with a ramp and shower seat for the main shower. This cabin sleeps 6 and has Wi-Fi

Nice semi secluded cabin. There is other cabins next to it, but we had adequate privacy from matured trees during the summer but probably not in the fall or winter months. Cabin was very clean and nice floor plan all on one level.
Ok hot tub, as some jets don't work and seemed like an older model that could be replaced, in my opinion. Also, no step stool for getting in and out of tub so made it difficult. The internet access was EXTREMELY slow. Also, no Keurig, still offers regular coffee maker.
Cabin was off the beaten path but is still close enough to Downtown Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge attractions. Overall, our stay was very enjoyable!

Great location. Nice cabin. Its pretty private for the time being. In the years to come prob not so much. New construction everywhere. Only con was how clean it was. We had a great time though. Snowed like crazy the last night so that was perfect for the kids.

We very much enjoyed our time at Above the Clouds. The cabin was very nice and very clean and stocked well. The staff was very helpful when needed as there was an issue with the hot tub not heating properly but they got it fixed quickly so that we still had time to enjoy it.

The cabin has a nice layout for two separate couples. It needs a swing or rocking chair for us older folks! It was clean but not overly clean, dryer knobs were split so you had to work to get the dryer to turn on. We loved sitting in the big family room/dining area and visiting or driving to the park to enjoy a nice hike through the woods. We will stay again but next time probably
closer to the park.

We loved the cabin it was myself, my husband and 2 kids ages 9 and 10. The arcade game was a huge hit along with air hockey and the hot tub. We were really hoping to see a bear but not this trip, we did have a family of wild turkeys walk through the driveway. Cabin was clean when we arrived and guest services was very nice, we had a issue with the freezer and maintenance showed up within an hour of calling. The only thing that I think needs updating is the frying pans if you plan on making anything with them everything sticks extremely bad we had to continually use non stick spray during cooking and still had food stick but we dealt with that as it wasn't a huge issue. We would definitely stay again and are already speaking about when we will return.

We loved this cabin. Teenagers enjoyed the pool table and air hockey table more than anything. Very remote. Beds were comfortable and cabin very spacy.

My son and I stayed in Above the Clouds for a fun spring break vacation. The cabin was beautiful and well-kept, and the staff was welcoming and helpful. My son loved the variety of games, and I loved the hot tub and amazing view. The free tickets to attractions that came with the reservations were a huge plus. The first couple of times driving up to the cabin were a little anxiety-inducing, but we made it. Looking forward to booking a stay here again!

Our stay was excellent, the cabin was exactly what was in the pictures, it was very clean. The staff at Heartland was very helpful and friendly during the booking process and during the stay. Our friends that went with us had a great time and we are think about making this a yearly couples getaway. Gatlinburg was really packed and we didn’t get to do everything that we wanted but all in all we had a great stay and definitely will be back! Thank you so much!

One of the Jacuzzi tubs did not work but the other did and was not an issue.
I would recommend a small table or stand near the BBQ pit to put stuff on while grilling.

A relaxing stay in a beautiful place.
Above the Clouds was perfect for 2 couples. Each bedroom had its own master bathroom that allowed for privacy for all. Even though there were other cabins in the area you couldnt see or hear them so it was very private like you were on your own mountain. As with most cabins, the roads are a bit sketchy but thats part of the adventure. This was our second stay with Heartland Cabin Rentals and I would not hesitate to use them again and again.

Wonderful stay
The cabin was secluded and accurate to the online description and pictures. The setup is excellent for two adult couples. The location is convent to Gatlinburg and local hiking. There was an issue with the air conditioning when we checked in, but was resolved. Overall this stay was excellent and we will rent again with Heartland.

We had an overall pleasant stay. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. Our cabin was clean upon arrival and the hot tub was even warm & ready to jump in for a soak! We had a minor issue that we didn't realize until our second night, the a/c was not working and inside temperature had reached 80 degrees. We call as soon as we realized and they had a repair man out within the hour! Thank you Heartland Cabin Rentals.

We really enjoyed staying in Above The Clouds. The cabin was very well maintain and in a great location! Of course, with almost every cabin in Gatlinburg, the roads to the cabin were challenging at first. But after traveling them a few times, we got used to them. The beds were comfortable and we loved how the furniture in the living room turned into futons. The staff was very hospitable and cared about our needs. We will definitely be using Heartland Cabins again!

Our stay was very pleasant. The woman who checked us in was very cordial and helpful. The free tickets provided through their partner service came in very useful and saved us more than $200. The cabin was more than adequate and although the minor issue we had resolved spontaneously when the staff was informed they responded in an appropriate and timely manner.

We had such a good time. The cabin was clean. The kitchen was well stocked with all we needed to cook great meals. The hot tub needed a little attention. When I asked about it at the office, she said someone would be right on it, and they were. The office staff are so friendly and ready to help in any way. We will rent for them again.

The cabin was clean and beautiful and the scenery was amazing.
We were supposed to check in at Gatlinburg but got caught in Pidgeon Forge traffic, when we called the office they were so very helpful and redirected us to the office in Pidgeon Forge were we checked in. The directions we received were very clear and led us right to our cabin.
The cabin was clean and absolutely met and exceeded our expectations. The views were amazing from our back door, it was really was "Above The Clouds". We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can't wait until next year!

Weekend get away
We would like to thank Heartland Rentals for the best experience we have ever had booking a cabin and the genuine kindness that we encountered with this trip. All the representatives, especially Misty, were excellent. The cabin Above the clouds is my favorite cabin now out of all the cabins that we have stayed in. We go to the Smokey Mountains about 4 times a year and book a cabin each trip. This was the best. The cabin is gorgeous, spacious, clean, and we loved the large bedrooms. It was an adventure getting up to it but it was worth the curves. The view from this cabin is amazing. It is a short drive to all that you want to do in The Smokey Mountains. We will be booking with Heartland Rentals again and this cabin.

This cabin was perfect for us, having a friend who can't climb stairs, this cabin was ideal. My only disappointment was not having a Christmas tree. We had a very enjoyable time on what we could. While on our trip we all got very sick with flu and had to leave early. This is a very nice cabin. I would recommend a dust pan and a swiffer mop for spills or in my case sick children. Over all great place.

Never wanted to leave
I stayed with my 3 kids (all under age 8) we loved the view! The kids loved the jacuzzi tubs. The sunrise is breathtaking. I can't say enough good things about this cabin. This is our fourth trip to the Smokies and staying in a Heartland cabin. Our second trip to Above the Clouds was wonderful! This time we got to bring our son to the Smokies for the first time and he LOVED it! He thought the cabin was the best part of his trip. Can't wait to return!

Hassle free stay
We stayed with Heartland Rentals mid August at the Above the Clouds cabin. We arrived late but they left us instructions and directions to the cabin so we could get in. We didn't have any problem getting to or in the cabin and and really enjoyed our 5 night stay. Holly and Misty were easy to work with and answered any questions we had. I would recommend using Heartland Rentals to anyone looking to book a trip to the Smokies.

Our stay was very pleasant, the staff called us before we arrived to make sure we were still coming due to the office was getting ready to close for the day and while we were concentrating on our ride there were totally forgot about the time so we were very thankful and pleased someone called so we were able to get our paperwork / instructions about the cabin therefore we were still able to get in and stay our 1st night, they even turned on the jacuzzi so it would be warm and ready for when we arrived. The area and the cabin was perfect just what we wanted it had the privacy / seclusion we wanted,had no difficulty with the driveway it was easily accessible. The only thing I could suggest that would help our stay better would be maybe having a ceiling fan in the kitchen and living room or just a fan in general.

Absolutely Wonderful Stay at Above the Clouds Cabin
I will definitely be recommending this cabin to friends and family!! My husband and I took our three children to Gatlinburg over New Years. The cabin was perfect for us, and my kids really enjoyed the pool table and hot tub!!

A COZY PRIVATE CABIN
We enjoyed our stay. The layout/floor plan in the cabin was great. Both bedrooms offered privacy and a quiet get away if needed. The drive up to the cabin was a bit tricky and hard to remember left or right turns at times, especially if it was dark. I would suggest having a few more chairs on the deck to sit and enjoy the view.

Busy but fun
The cabin fit our needs exactly with enough room for all. We enjoyed being in a more isolated area. The staff was great getting us checked in quickly and we even had a staff member come out to collect our trash and check to see if we needed anything. Thanks, we enjoyed ourselves.........

I knew the cabins were in wooded areas but the location was still a pleasant surprise, away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Gatlinburg. The cabin itself was sparkling clean with polished hardwood floors and tons of light. My husband used the gateway to fun pass several times and it was such an awesome deal to add to the whole package.

This was a beautiful cabin. The staff was always there to help and very friendly. I would stay here again. The cabin was in a great location not far from any activity we choose. It was very peaceful and private. Very much enjoyed the hot tub at 0500 am. Would recommend to anyone!!!! The free pass for zipping linning at Legacy Mountain was a plus!

Nice, Quiet Getaway
We stayed in this cabin the first weekend in April and had a great experience. The view from the cabin is spectacular. There is a deck with a hot tub that overlooks the surrounding hills and gives a great view of the Smoky Mountains. The cabin is pretty remote, about a 10 minute drive off one of the main roads in the area but was easy to find with the directions provided. Although there were other cabins relatively close, we did not experience any noise that disturbed us. I'm not sure if that is because the cabin is well-insulated (which it seemed to be as the sun from the day remained in the house to keep things warm even when the evening temperatures approached freezing) or the other folks staying in the other cabins were quiet. The cabin was clean and well-maintained. Overall, I would highly recommend this cabin for a couple or even two couples (there are two separate bedrooms with separate bathrooms) who is looking to get away.

A great experience
Just an awesome place to stay. We had no complaints. Everything was in working order. If I had to just complain about something, it would be that I couldn't order PPV movies when we got in for the day! It would make my experience better if this was a feature. Again, I am only one person and it really was not a big deal at all. It was an awesome experience and we will be back next year regardless of the ability to order PPV movies!

Wonderful!!
It was great!!! The view is gorgeous and we even endured a snow storm!!! Our only problem was the snow knocked out both the power and water for the last 24hrs. that we were there. Thankfully, we had the light & heat from the fireplace before we went to bed that last night.
This is my second time staying in "Above the Clouds". It was just as beautiful as the first time!!! :-)
