The cabin was clean and cozy. We really enjoyed the gas fireplaces and Jacuzzi tub in the upstairs bedroom. The location of the cabin was excellent for access to the hiking trails and areas we wanted to visit. It was nice to have a pet free option and the amenities we wanted.

We enjoyed our stay at Barefoot Dreams cabin, it was very clean, well decorated with wildlife decor and the cabin was well equipped with kitchen utensils and other items needed for our stay! The road to cabin could be a little slippery in wet weather! The parking allowed for two cars was nice and easy entry into cabin! Overall we had a great time and would recommend it to visitors! Barefoot Dreams was very easy to get to being right of the spur. The driveway and parking was also not a problem with it being a flat driveway which was very nice. We enjoyed the hot tub everyday and I would have to say it is one of the nicer hot tubs we have had. It has multiple jets which we really liked. There are cabins close by but it feels like a private cabin. Both the front and back enclosed porches are very nice.

We were on vacation with my in-laws and the cabin was great for 2 families. We each had our own room and bathroom for privacy, but the public spaces were also plenty big enough for everyone to be comfortable and our toddler to run around and play. We had a problem with the lock when we first got there, so we called the office the next morning and they sent someone out right away to fix it. We would definitely recommend this cabin to other people wanting to go to the area.

Absolutely perfect

This cabin was perfect for my family of 4. The master suite was huge with a nice jacuzzi tub and a swing to sit and relax in front of the fireplace. We have 2 daughters 14 and 10. Needless to say the teenager took over the guest bedroom and 10 year old on the couch bed. We will definitely be back and maybe without kids next time haha

we had a great time relaxing the whole reason for going. Ashley went above and beyond finding us a cabin in the area that we like at the last minute. You can't ask for a better person to work with. Cozy cabin in the perfect location

We absolutely loved this cabin. It was in the middle between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. We do wish you could see the mountains a little better through the trees and the king size bed is more on the firmer side. The road getting there is a little steep and narrow but once you drive it a few times you get use to it. We loved the fireplaces!

Cozy & relaxing

Love the cabin! You hardly even know there are others nearby. This was our first trip to the area, and we’re ready for a return trip - would definitely book Barefoot Dreams again! Convenient to Great Smoky Mountains NP. We spent most of our time there rather than in over-commercialized Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg proper. Came prepared with a bucket of cleaning supplies (COVID paranoia), but didn’t need to do anything but the obligatory kitchen scrub-down and sanitizing wipes on doorknobs, light switches, toilets, etc. And that was just for good measure - everything looked spotless when we got there.

Came for the Views, Would Like to Stay for the Hot Tub

We stayed two nights and it certainly wasn’t enough. We spent much of our time on the back porch enjoying the views and the rainstorms. Very well kept and decorated cabin! There is no WiFi but we hardly noticed, instead enjoying each other’s company and all the amenities this gorgeous place had to offer.

Beautiful suroundings, well maintained and clean cabin, quiet

It is a pleasure to escape the hustle and bustle of the rest of the world and settle into Barefoot Dreams for a truly relaxing experience. We have vacationed there and at other Heartland cabins several times over the past 17 years. The location is close to both the activities and restaurants of the area and a short drive to the peace and beauty of the surrounding mountains. We are seniors living in Michigan and our only wish is that it wasn't such a long drive to Tennessee. As a side issue, my parents took their honeymoon in the Smoky Mountains in 1937, my brother-in-law also honeymooned there in 1968 and my son spent a couple days with us and also went hiking for 5 days in The Great Smoky Mountains. God willing, we will be back again next year.

Everything about Barefoot Dreams was awesome. Super loved that the front and back porch was screened in. It was clean and had everything we needed. I was happy I didn't see any spiders or snakes in the cabin! The only thing I would do if it were my cabin is replace furniture with leather furniture.

Great stay. Second time using. We’re from Clarksville TN. drove 4 hrs here. So we were exhausted. Easy checkin. Extremely clean. Nice and cozy. Phone service was surprising good even though we rarely used our phones. It was quiet. Secluded. We had our three girls with us. Closed in front and back porch made it safe. Comfortable, but could be awesome with a few minor improvements

I am a big guy. I was unable to shower without the shower curtain constantly attacking me. The Huge jacuzzi tub in the Master Suite greatly overwhelmed the dinky shower. I realize that increasing to size of the shower would be a great expense, but a really nice walk-in shower could add greatly to the experience of this cabin. If this is not feasible, the installation of a curved shower rod would also address the issue well. Thank you for a cozy and accommodating experience

The cabin is beautiful. The people with Heartland cabin rental were friendly and nice. My one issue is with the location of the hot tub, it’s right outside the window of the 1st floor bedroom, so all night long you hear it running. If you are a light sleeper please avoid the bottom bedroom

I have lost count of how many years my family and I have rented cabins through Heartland Rentals. Our very first stay was at least 8 years ago or more. It all began with our stay at Barefoot Dreams so staying here again was definitely a sentimental experience. The cabin is decorated beautifully as always and the view of the mountains from the back porch is priceless. When we reserved the cabin back in February we had no idea the eclipse was going to occur. We had an outstanding private view from where we were that was priceless! Thank you Heartland Rentals for yet another wonderful vacation making memories with my family. I really hated to leave but look forward to coming back again soon.

My family and I really enjoyed "the cabin experience".

The cabin was decorated beautifully and had just about everything we needed. We only had a few minor problems ( the toilet handle broke and the drain in the bathtub was slightly clogged)but was taken care of right away after we reported it. Our favorite part of our stay was sitting out on the deck and porch at night just listening to the quiet. After running around all day, it was great to come back to the serenity of the cabin.

Fantastic cabin

I was amazed at how well stocked our cabin was, dishes, pots/pans, silverware, etc. Even though we used very little of what the cabin had, it was great knowing it was there if we needed it. It was above and beyond my expectations. It felt like home, it was very comfortable. The decor was the best!

very nice, relaxing cabin that felt far away from everything, but was remakebly close to everything

Cabin was very nice. In the end, the lack of Wi-Fi was actually a blessing as I was able to totally un-plug from everything for a few days, including the office! The staff at Heartland was very nice, and the reservation process/check-in was a breeze.

Yes, I would recommend this vacation rental to a friend or family member!
