Come and enjoy one of the most luxurious cabins in ALL of Gatlinburg! This beautiful 4 bedroom Gatlinburg Cabin Rental has been featured in several log home magazines! Located in the Ski Mountain area of Gatlinburg, just 1 mile to Downtown Gatlinburg or Ober Ski Resort, this custom-built log home is Second to None! Also only 1 mile to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park! This unique Smoky Mountain cabin has large bedroom suites, beautiful decor, and luxury furnishings for the ultimate Smoky Mountain Vacation!
Upon entry to the cabin, you will immediately notice the gorgeous custom made wagon wheel chandelier hanging in the living room. Adjacent the living room will be the kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with all state of the art appliances, as well as a storage room with washer and dryer! Think you bought too much food? No problem! In the storage room will be a second refrigerator and pantry for those who love to cook big meals! To the left of the living room will be the beautifully spacious king size master bedroom, fully equipped with a Jacuzzi tub and full bath, including a walk in shower! To the right of the living room, the hallway leads to a full bathroom with shower/tub combo, beside a beautifully decorated king size bedroom.
Go up the stairs and enter into the loft for some game time fun! You can enjoy a quiet game of chess, or gather your friends and family for a game of shuffle board! Don’t forget about the Atari arcade game that has all of the classic games, such as Pac-man and Tetris! Upstairs you will find 2 more bedrooms, on both the left and right you will have a uniquely decorated king size bedroom with its own full bath with shower/tub combo!
This cabin private cabin has beautiful wrap around deck with your own private hot tub, you truly are in the heart of the Smoky Mountains! We’ve stayed with Heartland Properties several times and the cabins are always great! Bear Hug was very Spacious and not far off the main road. It was perfect for our family vacation this year! We also finally saw a Bear at our cabin, which we’ve always hoped would happen. But remember to always lock your car doors as Bear can open them! We found this out but thankfully the Bear did not cause any damage by going into one of our vehicles. We will be using Heartland again for our next Smokey Mountain Getaway and if the family can go again we will stay at Bear Hug again!

We loved the cabin! It was very comfortable with plenty of room. It was beautiful with a huge wraparound porch .and hot tub. The only negatives were no cell service most of the time which we weren’t expecting. We found the bedrooms too dark! They need more lamps! Also, our bathroom. We had 2 different bears come every day looking for food onto the porch! It was disconcerting! My daughter was in the hot tub one morning when one came up! She jumped out of the hot tub and it walked around the whole porch , looking in the doors and windows!! We got plenty of videos of it. A different one came 2 days later that was more aggressive and pulled down stuff on the porch. Just keep alert cause they were very quiet. We never heard them coming

This cabin was perfect! Great location between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Everything was well taken care of. There are quite a few steps to get up to the cabin but it didn’t cause an issue for us. Will definitely use this company again!! Thank you!

The cabin is beautiful and very clean. Everything works as it should and we really enjoyed our time there! The location of the cabin makes it a bit challenging because of the extended staircase to get in and out with luggage and everything else, but otherwise it’s a really great place!

The cabin was beautiful, in great shape and we loved the large kitchen full of options to use. The proximity to both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge was a plus and we were lucky enough to see a bear in its natural environment.

The house is spacious and clean. The four bedrooms and bathrooms are perfect for a big group like ours. The house is located in a quiet woody area with green and fresh air to welcome you. The decorations adds a notch high for coziness. The house has enough utensils and glasses , but if your group likes to cook a few meals, you need to take your own spice and maybe a few extra rolls of paper towels. We enjoyed our 4 day stay in the house.

This cabin was amazing! We felt right at home from the minute we walked in. The appliances and rooms are all up to date along with comfortable beds!
The only negative I felt we had was the steep driveway but this is expected with higher up cabins.

Perfect Smokey Mountain Getaway for our group. We had 4 adults and 4 children under 5 and couldn’t be happier with our stay. Cabin was great exactly as advertised. Hot tub was perfect. Location was great. Far enough away you felt like you were alone in the mountains but actually only 15-20 minutes from Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. National Park is minutes away.
Informational tidbits we had AT&T Cell phones and service was minimal to non-existent. And the cabin has no WiFi (doesn’t advertise that it does). These weren’t really issues for us but if you need those things heads up. Also you are very, VERY close to nature. We had bears on our porch and at least one has learned to open car doors so make sure you lock your doors and keep food inside. I could not recommend this place enough for a family getaway.

Fabulous Family Vacation Rental!
This house was mountain perfect! Beautifully decorated and well maintained, it suited our family perfectly which included three teenagers. The Heartland office staff was very helpful when we needed to contact them. The house location was also a win. We even saw bears on two occasions. We would definitely stay here or rent from Heartland again.

Bear Hug Didn't Disappoint
Our Bear Hug experience started with the quick and easy check in process which was all done electronically. Once we arrived, the cabin was clean, very roomy, and just as advertised. We experienced a black bears roaming around both evenings as it slowly crossed the road below us. My kids loved the experience. The location is close to Gatlinburg which made it easy to get around to experience the town. There are great views along the drive up to the cabin as well.

Great Cabin and Location
We stayed at this cabin with 3 other couples for 6 nights in early November. The location of the cabin (near the bypass) was great. The cabin itself was nicely decorated and spacious. We really enjoyed the wrap-around deck. The mattress in our room was more comfortable than the one we have at home!
We were visited by a bear on the first night of our stay. That created a lot of memories!

Beautiful cabin!! Loved the ceilings and decor. Owners have really put some work into making this place special. We even had the bear visit us!! Great close location to town with the quiet setting we wanted. My kids loved their rooms and the game area. We will definitely be back!

The cabin was beautiful, clean, very spacious!! NIce location!! It's called Bear Hug for a reason... two days in a row we came up on a juvenile bear on the deck. It was more scared of us but it was a sight to see!!

Cabin was very very nice. One morning we even had a visit from a bear. We were smart and just enjoyed watching him as he roamed around the outside of the cabin.

Beautiful cabin, very welcoming!!
The cabin was beautiful and located up high on the mountain, if your not a fan of heights then make sure to come and go from the Pigeon Forge area roads.
Everything was very clean and wellkept Inside the cabin and most everything you need is there (pots, dishes, glasses, coffee maker, blender). There are local grocery stores in both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge to make food runs.
The hot tub was a GREAT asset, gets nice and hot and was a relaxing way to spend the evening after a day of hiking.
All in all, we had a great time in Bear Hug!
