Q: Do You Have To Have Four-Wheel-Drive?
It is highly recommended that you have a 4-wheel-drive vehicle during the winter months as inclement weather may be a factor. Each of our cabins is located throughout a vast array of elevation, meaning weather can be different on any area of the road or roads. It could be sunny below and the road could have snow or ice due to trees blocking the sunlight. In the winter months, you would have to have 4 wheel drive and/or chains to navigate without concern. If winter weather is a concern for you, please communicate with our team members about your needs so that they may suggest cabins that fall within your cabin wish list criteria.
Q: Are The Cabins Located On Gravel Roads Or Paved Roads? Do I Need A Special Vehicle To Get To My Cabin?
Most of the cabins are on paved roadways, however, there are some that would be located on gravel roads or driveways.
Q: Can We Have More Guests Stay With Us Than The Cabin Says IT Can Sleep?
With the fire codes and regulations, we have listed the number of guests that each cabin will sleep comfortably and safely. If you will have more people than listed on the cabin, you will need to select a larger cabin.
Q: What Is There To Do In The Area?
There are lots of things to do in the area starting with our Gateway to Fun Pass:
With your reservation, you will receive our Gateway to Fun Pass. This pass gives you one free adult admission into Ripley’s Aquarium, Country Tonite Show, Comedy Barn, Hatfield and McCoy Dinner Show, Magic Beyond Belief, Adventure Park Zip Lines, USA Rafting, and Ripley’s Old McDonald’s Farm Mini Golf.
We also sell discounted tickets for Dollywood and Dolly Splash Country. We also have Dolly Parton’s Stampede, and Dolly Parton’s Smoky Mountain Adventures that we would offer $5 off for adults and $1 off per kid and is good for 4 people per pass.

Q: Can You Suggest Any Places To Eat As Well As Any Attractions? Where Are The Best Places To Go?
Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, Wears Valley, and Sevierville have an enormous selection of restaurants and attractions to choose from. Our staff can provide recommendations, try asking the locals or even try looking at review sites such as Yelp and Tripadvisor to find the top-rated places to eat or attractions based on your desires or needs.
Q: What Is Provided At The Cabin Upon Check-In?
When you check into a cabin with Heartland Rentals we will provide you with a starter package with the following: One roll of toilet paper per bathroom, one roll of paper towels, one trash bag per trash can, one bar of soap per bathroom, makeup towelettes to remove makeup as well as brown washcloths, one small bottle of dish soap for dishes and one pack of dishwashing cleaner for cabins with dishwashers.
