This was my favorite cabin that I've ever rented by far! Its been on my wish list for years and we finally got it! The cabin is perfect! Its beautifully furnished. The amenities are amazing and it was the most relaxed I have been in a long time. The only con's I could find were the shower while amazing, does not drain hardly at all. Everything else was great! Very cozy cabin tucked away in the woods, lots of privacy, and very quiet. Cabin was very clean and the features were great! Dish detergent was provided, but we did have to run into town for some laundry detergent. At first the fancy shower had some particles coming out of the head, but after a few seconds it was clear, I presume it just hadn't been ran in awhile. The hot tub and jacuzzi worked flawlessly though. All in all we definitely would stay again!

The cabin itself was really nice and was very clean. It's the perfect distance to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, about 20 min. each way.

It definitely lives up to the "cozy" name!

Our only gripe was that it lacked some basic amenities, so if you plan on preparing a lot of your own meals while you're here, you might need to bring some extra things to do so. Also, the upstairs loft is decorated for Christmas... in June. So, it's not really somewhere you want to hang out.

Overall, it was all very well kept and nice and we had a very great time.

Perfect Place!

We stumbled upon this cabin while trying to find a place at the last minute for a quick getaway. From the moment we stepped in, I knew I didn't want to stay anywhere else - EVER. It's whimsical, charming, cozy but spacious, and where other cabins are rather generic, LJ's has panache. The bathroom sink, the kitchen island, the SHOWER... it was all fantastic!

I chatted online with Heartland for the booking and then a couple of times afterward for some follow-up questions and each time, it was an easy, enjoyable, personable conversation.

This cabin is exactly what you need to get the full mountain/country vibes! It’s right in the middle of both gatlinburg and pigeon forge! so it was easy driving to each location! Super cute cabin, far enough away to feel remote but close enough to easily travel to the Parkway everyday.

Cabin was beautiful; I could sit on the porch and take in the scenery all day. Two toilets, full kitchen, super functional...my husband's only criticism was the tiny TV (which we barely used). The Gateway To Fun Pass was great! Definitely a bargain! Legacy Mountain Zip line, Five Oaks Stables and all the other activities (lumberjack feud, titanic) were great!

Relaxing Stay

We stayed here while doing day hikes in the national park. The cabin was well equipped. The furniture in the living room was great to stretch out on. The king bed was very comfortable and greatly welcome after a tiring day of wilderness hiking. The hot tub on the deck was a welcome relief to soothe our aching muscles. The fact that it was VERY PRIVATE made it even better.

The decal on the kitchen window with the wild animals looking in was a bit disturbing at first but we got used to it. WiFi would have been a welcome addition as we had to take care of some personal business while there.

Comfortable stay, pleasant environment

The cabin has no Wifi, which we knew, but we were expecting a phone or emergency phone, which none exist. Our cell phones did not work due to our service. This made us feel uneasy at times. Neighbors were loud when we were outside, but when we went inside, the cabin was well insulated. Bed was comfortable and falling asleep on the living room furniture is very easy to do. If we are to head back to the Smokies, we will definitely keep LJ's Cozy Getaway in mind. Thank you for the stay and clean, cozy cabin.

Cabin was nice, and wonderful decor

Everything was very nice and easy check in/out. Althought due to the Pandemic, we were unable to take advantage of the BOGO activities offered. The only issue we had with the cabin is the 1/2 bath toilet would not flush. However since there were two restrooms, no worries. Just called the office to inform them and told them no rush to fix. We did have an issue with the Dish Satellite system. Could not view any channels after 10 pm on second evening. There was aa storm but that was early morning on Sunday. Overall the cabin was very nice, very quite and good mountain views. Shower was awesome!

Jordan won us over with his excellent customer service! We first spoke with him and he did not have anything for us for 2 nights...but he called us back with cabins and service! Both cabins were clean and comfortable, LJ's was our favorite one! Checking in with Casey the next day was great too! He had numerous ideas on where to eat...by the way Pawpaw's Catfish Kitchen was a hit! I do not remember her name - but the lady I spoke to when we called to check out was very pleasant and welcomed us back for another visit! Our stay at LJ's Cozy Cabin was amazing! The cabin was clean and filled with everything we needed. The convenience of having a washer and dryer was nice. Heartland Cabin Rentals were super easy to work with. Everyone I spoke with was knowledgeable, friendly and professional. I especially appreciated being asked to call the office once we reached our cabin to let them know we made it in. Advice to anyone renting a secluded cabin such as us: follow Heartland directions and try and arrive in the daylight. We live out in the country and still found the back roads difficult to navigate for the first time after dark. We will definitely use Heartland rentals for any future visits.

Cabin was cozy and perfect

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights for our anniversary! Loved the rustic look! So homey and cozy! Not far at all from all the attractions. Pretty much in the middle so easy access to all the local cities. With heartland rentals they gave us one free ticket for a lot of shows and places to go. Since I scheduled 5 shows I got a discount on every one of them and only had to pay like 20 dollars a ticket! What an amazing price!!! Usually these shows are like 40-60 dollars a person. The swing in the loft was so wonderful and adorable looking out the windows in the mornings drinking my coffee. Bed was a little too hard, but nothing the shower massager couldn’t help with! Foot and back massage in the shower! Next time we come back we will be coming back to this cabin!!! Upon arriving the owners even left us a cute little gift to welcome us! How thoughtful! If ever you’d like to sell this cabin please contact me because i would love to buy it!! Thank you so much for letting us stay here! It’s just the perfect getaway for two parents of 4 Little Kids!

We got married on a Saturday evening, so we had to do late check in. The directions were very easy to follow and we were able to get to the cabin with ease! Everything was beautiful. This is such an updated, modern cabin, and it was perfect. We loved the two person jacuzzi bathtub, and the shower was nice too! The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a full meal, and it was so cozy! The upstairs was adorable, and we loved the swing and the view! The cabin was easily accessible, and absolutely wonderful. We used the fun pass and especially loved the aquarium, so neat! I could go on and on. Perfect getaway from hustle and bustle of surrounding area.

LJ's Cozy Getaway was one of the nicest cabins we have stayed in. It was everything the on-line summary said it was and more. Lots of attention to the little details. It was clean and very well stocked. Loved the views from the front porch. Close enough to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge to visit whenever we wanted but very private and quiet to return to. This cabin is a great tribute to its owners. We had to cut our visit short due to a death in the family and were very sad to leave.

Yes, I would recommend this vacation rental to a friend or family member!

Amazing cabin!

My wife and I come to the mountains every year, this was our 3rd yr, and we always rent a cabin. We have yet to have a bad experience. This was my 1st time using Heartland and you guys did awesome. You get exactly what is stated online and no hidden costs. LJ's Cozy Getaway was decorated better than any cabin thus far. The owners don't hold back when it comes to setting up their cabins. On our 4th day there we actually got married in the cabin! We have been a couple since 8-22-11 and tied the knot 8-24-17 and it was awesome. It was private just her, the preacher, and myself but something we'll cherish forever! We will definitely have to return now and will definitely check out Aspens Hideaway and Dolly Bears because they have the same owner as LJ's Cozy Getaway. Seldom does the selection of a cabin occur that all pictures and amenities listed are facts, but I can honestly state LJ's Cozy Getaway was exactly as stateted and shown!!

Upon arriving and entering the cabin it was even better then I expected. Everything was top of the line. King size mattress were awesome, bedroom combined with rain-spa shower, jacuzzi tub was spacious. Hubby loved the radio in the two person shower.

Beautiful woven wood blinds along w/today's aqua colors made the room very chic and soft tan leather furniture, cowhides, beautiful

animals of the Smoky Mountains, granite countertops and hubby loved the Jack Daniels No 7 barrel table and barstools gave a real cabin flair. When Heartland Rentals assured us this cabin are all about presentation that was an understatement

Relaxing and quiet

The house is beyond adorable! The owners did not overlook a single detail from light switch covers to choice in throw blankets! It is a nice distance from the busy downtown and offers a great view of the mountains.
