The road leading up to Mountain Dreams is completely paved and winds through the beautiful wooded area of the Great Smoky Mountains. You will find the Mountain Dreams cabin at the top of the hill surrounded by treetops and overlooking the mountains. There is only one other rental at the top and they are both facing opposite directions - therefore, you are guaranteed the utmost privacy during your vacation. Cabin offers WIFI!
The front of the cabin is accentuated by a long covered deck with plenty of room for enjoying the tranquility of the Great Smoky Mountains with a gas grill. As you enter this beautiful log cabin you are taken by the quaint country charm of the decor. To the left of the main entrance is a fully equipped kitchen and laundry room. To the right you will find a beautifully decorated dining room with a solid redwood dining room table. By the dining room you will find the living room with wide glass doors that may be opened in order to view the beautiful mountains from the serenity of your own log cabin and leads out to the screened in deck. As well as this, there is an inviting gas burning fireplace situated in the living room for your pleasure during those cold months of the year.
On the lower level off of the living room you will find a King Sized bedroom with a Flat Screen TV and with it's own private Shower only. Upstairs you will find the master bedroom. Within the master bedroom you will find a large Jacuzzi tub, king size bed, flat screen TV, gas fireplace and your very own private deck. Located in the master bedroom is a private shower only.
Out of the large glass doors in the living room you are presented with a screened-in deck overlooking the mountains. Located on the screened-in deck you will find the hot tub and your very own sauna. You will also find your own private mountain view of the beauty known as the Great Smoky Mountains.

This cabin was perfect for our short stay for just the two of us. The cabin was clean, well equipped, and appointed nicely. It is super close to PF (10mins) and just a few extra minutes (15mins) in the other direction you are in Gatlinburg. We also took advantage of the Xplore passes to many of the local attractions and that saved us at least $200 total on the four places we visited.
Though there are bedrooms on both the main and upper level, we preferred the lower level out of convenience. The bathrooms on both levels were comparable, nearly identical the best we could tell. The beds were on the firm side as others have stated. The instruction booklet was handy to answer any questions we had. Accessing the cabin with the code was super easy and convenient; and it's hard to top just telling "Alexa" we wanted to check-out - super easy.
The view was nice, as was the hot tub and sauna.
We loved our stay and would definitely book this cabin and/or with Heartland rentals again.

My wife and I get a cabin every year, and Mountain Dreams has been the best yet. With beautiful views and great accommodations our stay was just what we needed. The Wi-Fi was fast and reliable for streaming, and the cabin was very clean when we arrived. This was our second stay with Heartland Rentals and we’ll be definitely be using them again!

AMAZING....This was not our first time using Heartland and it will definitely not be our last. Every time I've chosen to use Heartland cabins they are amazing cabins. Great service and always a phone call away for anything. Very much recommended, will be who I chose every year. Last year when I booked a cabin through another company they literally cancelled me 2 hours before my arrival with no other cabin to give me, Heartland cabins booked me on the spot, I was driving from Louisiana to Tennessee with several little ones. What would have been a nightmare became a perfect week, All thanks to this great cabin rentals. I cant say enough for this place.

The location is beautiful, the best in that spot for sure! Lots of other cabins around but private. The two downside was the hot tub was very hard to get into. I had my mom with me she could not get in at all. Right at the entrance was a skimmer and there was no [lace to get into it. the other part is the bed upstairs was so high off the ground if you are under 5 9 you need a small step stool. Other than that a beautiful place.

Beautiful cabin in a perfect location for those wanting to visit both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge! It is very quiet and peaceful. We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed the cabin. We loved everything about the cabin and our stay. We did not use the hot tub or sauna so I can't comment on them. We utilized some of the free gateway passes since we had a little one with us. It was definitely an added bonus for us!

Agreed that the rockers on the enclosed deck are a little low to sit on to enjoy the view but not something that would make us not want to come back. Cabin was beautifully appointed, clean and quiet. Be prepared to put your car in low gear for the drive up! If you are under 5' 3", washing your face in the bathroom sinks may be a 'stretch'. The covered porch with the sauna and swing were so peaceful; again, if you're short, you will only see the railing when seated on the swing :) There is a very nice seating porch off of the upstairs bedroom and the jacuzzi tub was a nice touch. The beds are VERY VERY FIRM, so if you need softness, you should bring your own cover. The high-efficiency washing machine was convenient. Overall, a very nice and relaxing cabin.

The view of this cabin was amazing! Heartland was beyond helpful and so friendly! We will definitely use their company again. The cabin was great for our family of 4. Be prepared for a steep dri.ve up the paved roads. The beds were also VERY FIRM. Other than that we found at least 50 millipedes (I think that’s what they were 😂) in the cabin over the course of 5 nights but they didn’t bother us we expected some “wildlife” in the mountains and our kids delighted in finding and disposing of them lol. Everything else was perfect! The sauna, hot tub, and jacuzzi were wonderful after being out all day, the kitchen had all the dishes we needed, and the convenience of the washer and dryer was nice.

We stayed at this cabin for 4 nights. The view was amazing! The location was between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Easy access to both towns and attractions. The hot tub was awesome after a long day of sightseeing. The driveway is steep, took some getting used to. But overall a great stay.

We had a great time and the cabin is wonderful! Everything was clean and maintained; the view off the back porch was lovely; linens and towels were provided; and all appliances worked properly! There were some things that would have been helpful in the kitchen, such as more glasses (for drinks and mixed drinks), wine bottle opener, etc. The upstairs bed was pretty firm. The hot tub was clean and very enjoyable and the showers were a particular hit!

The cabin is spacious enough for 4 adults to comfortably stay in but with a very cozy feel. It’s clean and the amenities are wonderful. This was our first time using Heartland Rentals. They make it so easy to check in and check out. Mountain Dreams cabin is lovely. A great view and very quiet. You really do feel like you are on top of the mountain. A good cabin for 2. The hot tub was wonderful. Loved the 2 fireplaces. Easy access to both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. The drive up to the cabin might be a little squirrelly for some but you are in the mountains. 😊 Best to do the first drive in daylight. The kitchen fit our needs just perfectly. The only thing we wished was better were the mattresses. They could do with a change. But everything else was perfect.

Relaxing!
My wife and I had as our goal for this vacation simple relaxation. Her one request as I searched was a screened in porch and a nice view. Mountain Dreams fulfilled her request. I wanted privacy. Even though this cabin is on a little road with several other cabins, once you get inside and especially when we got on the deck we had the privacy I wanted. The cabin was very clean with everything promised. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We relaxed. Sitting on the deck in the rocking chairs, coffee, and several good books brought the relaxation that we wanted. One of the few vacations I have taken where I was actually refreshed when we returned home.

We have had the pleasure of staying in this particular cabin 4 or 5 times now and every time have thoroughly enjoyed the peace and tranquility of not only the area but the overlook into the mountains, the relaxing hottub AND sauna (love love love the screened in back porch), the amenities that are provided for our use, the beautiful table! and the folks whom we had contacted on the phone for check in and checkout were extremely pleasant and always made sure we knew they were available for any issues that "may" arise. Not once to my recollection have we needed to contact the office for any issues with this cabin. Mountain Dreams is truly that - a dream cabin that is a beautiful get-a-way that we truly enjoy. We’ve stayed at several cabins in recent years and mountain dreams has been the best one so far. The cabin is a little, cute and cozy but the furniture is comfortable. It was clean well maintained and everything worked well. The floor upstairs is a bit noisy for whoever sleeps downstairs but other then that it was perfect.

This cabin was all and more than we hoped for. It was very clean, well kept. Even though there are cabins near by, it still seemed as if we were all by ourselves, quiet, secluded. It was very quiet at night time, great sleeping! We had a problem with the alarm one day, and like someone else said, this is THE LOUDEST alarm ever!!! We laughed it off. Appliances were new to include washer/dryer that we used. The only thing was the configuration of the "living room/tv" area - you could not sit on the one loveseat up against the wall and watch tv without pain in your neck from having to look up - we moved to the second one and it was a smidge better. The tv needs to be lowered or something better. The hot tub was AMAZING, we enjoyed very much, the sauna was used a couple times and enjoyed that too. We had a wonderful time in the Smokies and the cabin played a great part of our enjoyment. We will recommend this to others !!

It was just what we were looking for in a quiet get away. Had one small issue with an exterior door handle and it was addressed/fixed immediately. Very close to Dollywood and Gatlinburg; the two locations we visited. Took the trolley to both locations. It was great because we saved money on parking at Dollywood and enjoyed leaving the driving to someone else to enjoy the view on our way to Gatlinburg. Would stay there again.

I love renting cabins from Heartland...the staff is always friendly and helpful. Even on the online chat if id have a quick question. This year me and my husband stayed in mountain dreams. We have motorcycles and we trailered them. Husband was able to fit everything in the drive way. pros Cabin was clean and views were beautiful. I love the screened in deck the sauna, hot tub, beds were comfortable. The upstairs Jacuzzi was huge....loved it after a long motorcycle ride. They give you a buy one get one free on some of the attractions. We used the legacy zip lines. That was a great time. Few Cons were pillows were flat and you weren't allowed to sleep on the shams. So bring you own pillow. Also if you need a hair dryer bring one. Wish they had screens on the windows. I would recommend heartland cabins every place will not be perfect but so worth it. Ill be back next year

This is one amazing cabin that exceeded our expectations.
We truly enjoyed staying at Mountain Dreams. The view from deck was great, The cabin was very clean. The only negative moment of our stay was my failure to enter the alarm code to silence the burglar alarm quick enough. I can honestly say that is one of the loudest systems I have ever heard. lol :)

Great family getaway for rest and relaxation.
The staff with Heartland Rentals were so courteous and nice. There was a risk if some bad weather, snow and ice, the staff contacted me to make sure I was aware and could prepare for it. The cabin was conveniently located and easy to get too, very clean and comfortable.

An absolute pleasant experience from start to finish. The staff (especially Ashley) were very patient and helpful in answering all of my questions during and leading up to my booking. The cabin was beautiful and spotless. Everything was exactly as advertised. I was going to book the rentals that Dollywood offered in their packages but my wife found Heartland Rentals through a google search and it saved us almost $500. I don't know if we are going back to Pigeon Forge, TN anytime soon but if we do go back I know where we are staying.

We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was very comfortable and had great amenities. The staff at the rental office (in Pigeon Forge) were very helpful, especially when we got lost trying to get back to the cabin. The view was spectacular from the cabin. We would definitely stay again.

The cabin was everything that we expected
The cabin was clean and very easy to find. The hot tub and sauna were a great way to relax. Everything was just as described. The only issues we had were the hot tub had no steps so it was difficult to get in and out of and there was only one small frying pan. But the cabin and Heartland were great!

Relaxing
We have visited Mountain Dreams many times and have a relaxing visit. We didn't have enough wash clothes and the electric door lock stopped working. We contacted the office and the nice ladies there were very helpful and brought us the wash clothes immediately. She also helped us get the spare key out of the box and we had to use it for the rest of the day. The hot tub was very nice and relaxing.

Home away from home.
Everything was great. There were a few things that could have been fixed such as loose door knobs and towel bar but nothing that interfered with our great time and great stay. Booking was easy, ladies at the front desk were friendly and helpful. Definitely plan on visiting again soon!

We loved the location in a quiet wooded setting on top of a mountain. Although, it felt as if we were out in the country, we were just minutes from Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and the National Park. The interior was clean, well appointed and decorated; the furniture was very comfortable.

The process was great the cabin was fantastic, the view fantastic, the location fantastic. About 10 minutes to Pigeon Forge, about 15 minutes to Gatlinburg. I will definitely be back, may try a different cabin, although Mountain Dreams was great for 4 people.

The cabin is beautiful cosmetically. We enjoyed our stay, everything worked, the view was great. The only downside for me was the lack of insulation room to room. I stayed in the master room and you could hear every sound from every room in the cabin. Made it difficult to sleep. But then again 7 and 8 year old kids are non stop noisy. We will be back. The service was also great!

We absolutely love coming to Mountain Dreams. My husband & I are able to relax and enjoy the hot tub. We liked the Fun Pass that was available; that was a nice touch. The only negative I could say is the dishwasher doesn't work properly and we didn't realize it until we were getting ready to leave and took the dishes out. We rewashed them and put them up.

Wonderful vacation with our friends in this cabin!
This is the 2nd time we have stayed in this cabin, and we love it. We were glad to see the cats this year, and another one with them. They are really sweet. Everything was clean and beautiful. We especially love the side porch that is screened in so we could sit there in the night with no bugs to bother us. The check in staff was very helpful and we sure enjoyed the Lumberjack Feud Dinner and Show. Hope we can come back again next year, as we always enjoy our stay in the Great Smoky Mountains of Tennessee.

Very relaxing!!!!!!
Cabin was nice and clean. Good view off the back porch. We did have three feral cats that wanted to come into the cabin so we had to be on the look out for them. That was the only thing close to being wrong. But we did not feed them and they left after three days.

The beauty of Mountain Dreams and the surrounding area greatly enhanced our vacation inTennessee.
Our experience with Heartland Rentals was awesome right from the beginning. The pictures and the description of the different cabins on their website made it easy for us to choose the one we were looking for. Upon arrival, we found Mountain Dreams to look exactly as it was pictured and described. From the reservation process all the way to the day we left, we were very pleased with the service Heartland Rentals provided. Our washer didn't work and with one simple phone call, they came out and fixed it right away. We highly recommend them to anyone looking for a cabin to stay in during their visit to the Gatlinburg - Pigeon Forge area. We will definitely be back to stay with them again.

Over the last four years of vacations we have always rented with Heartland Rentals and have been very happy (rented two different cabins during this time frame---if we like a cabin we try to rent the same one each year). Mountain Dreams is a great cabin, we feel right at home there. We loved everything about it. The hot tub was probably the highest point. The only thing that might be nice would be to be able to just get the key code without needing to make a visit to the office. Overall, absolutely perfect!

Loved it more than we did last year.
We rented the same cabin as last year and loved it even more. The new decor made it seem like a different cabin but with all the same great ammenities! The check-in and check-out process is so easy and the staff is so friendly and nice to talk to about everything. This cabin has everything we could ask for. The view is fabulous, especially with the fall foliage. The location of the cabin makes you feel you are isolated from your neighbors. The jacuzzi and hot tub are nice, but the sauna is my personal favorite. The place is equipped with all the appliances, cook and tableware to make you self sufficient. The internet still allowed us to stay in contact with our friends and family. Can't wait to stay here again next year.

Very enjoyed our stay at Mountain Dreams. It was close enough to everything we wanted to visit but still far enough off the "beaten path" to enjoy our private family time together. While we arrived on a Sunday and did not interact with the staff in Pigeon Forge, the representative we spoke with in Gatlinburg was very helpful. We had absolutely no issues with checkin/out. Once again a very positive experience.

Very nice cabin
My honest and candid review is that it is a very nice cabin - very clean and well kept. The living room/ family room area is *very* small. However, the bedrooms are both very large. The price was a little high to me compared to other cabins BUT this one has a washer/ dryer, fireplaces - one in family room and one in master bedroom, and a sauna as well. I don't find the washer/dryer necessary but it is nice to be able to dry clothes or towels after using hot tub. The sauna is such a nice added feature, I really liked it. It wasn't very secluded as your neighbors are quite close. The hot tub jets worked great. I would *really* like to have had a hair dryer but there wasn't one. It was very nice of the office to contact us when the cabin was ready which was hours earlier than check in. We were already in town shopping and didn't get there until later but still a nice gesture.

We'd been looking forward to making this trip for a long time so, we're so glad we stayed in such a beautiful cabin. It has a wonderful view, was nicely decorated, clean and had everything we needed for our stay. (We did miss having a hook or two in the bathroom and/or bedroom to hang our towels or clothes. not a big deal, just a suggestion.)
