The cabin provided all the basic necessities for sleeping, bathing and cooking. It was very centrally located to all popular attractions. The AC worked well, kept it nice and cool. The fun pass also saved us a couple hundred dollars on attractions. Our kids loved the pool and we went often. They also enjoyed the hot tub.

At the time the listing did state a dishwasher was in the unit. I was disappointed that there actually wasn’t one. But we managed.

The beds definitely need to be replaced. They were very uncomfortable. Maybe the mattresses are new but could use new box springs perhaps?

The BBQ grill/smoker really shouldn’t be in the listing. They have rust and are very old. We didn’t feel comfortable using them.

I probably would give the cabin 4-5 stars if it had better beds and a gas grill. We enjoyed our stay either way and most of our time was not spent in the cabin except for sleeping anyway.

Our cabin was very cute and in a secluded, quiet location. It was away from the hustle and bustle of the city but still close enough that the drive wasn't bad. The setting was very relaxing and beautiful. The only complaints we had was the water had an oily feel to it and occasionally a weird smell and the wifi had a weak signal the entire time. This wouldn't have been an issue but we also didn't have cell service either, so we couldn't contact family who was close by or look anything up such as restaurants to try, activities or pricing.

This cabin is absolutely adorable. It was super clean and obviously well loved by the owners. This was the perfect cabin for us on our 20th anniversary trip. This unit is not pet friendly (we typically travel with our 2 boxers), but if it were this would be our go to cabin to rent. The location is ideal if you want to avoid the crowds.

We took advantage of a few of the discounts offered through xplorie...that was nice! We also loved that the cabin was close to all the places we wanted to visit, but still secluded from the busy city. The one and only complaint I would have is the water felt oily.

The cabin was just what we wanted. It was clean and the location was exactly what we were looking for - woodsy, remote but easy to get to town. Heartland was great to work with and always available for any questions. The variety of free passes provided with our stay was great. We took advantage of quite a few including Dollywood. Overall: I would stay here again and would recommend it to my friends. That said there are a few downsides: as others have stated the water pump is very loud/noisy. If you are a light sleeper I'd recommend ear plugs. It runs all night and is located in the master bedroom. Also, the hot tub could use some care - only about half the jets worked and only worked at about half force. It was more like sitting in a hot bath.

Great week in the mountains

The cabin was clean and what we needed. It was a good location that was easy to find and no treacherous roads. There is no dishwasher in the cabin and the king bed is memory foam which has never done well for our backs, but overall it was a great stay!

We had a wonderful time there in the Smoky Mountains. The cabin (Hidden Treasures) was perfect for our needs. I was able to get my motorcycle trailer in and out without any problems and there was plenty of room for parking with my truck, trailer and two motorcycles. Unlike most cabins that might have room to park only one vehicle (maybe two). This is our third stay with Heartland Rentals and we hope to rent from you sometime in the near future.

Holly, with Heartland Rentals was great to deal with; very friendly. ,Thank you Holly. My daughter and I had a great week. We spent time using the Gateway to Fun Pass; Legacy Mountain Zipline, USA Raft, and the Hatfield and McCoy Show. We also went to Ripley's Aquarium and played mini golf at Old MacDonalds. The Fun Pass is a great deal. We hiked a few trails in the Smokey Mountains and visited Cades Cove. When not cooking, we ate breakfast at Grandmothers Kitchen in Wears Valley, wonderful breakfast. We also had a nice surprise on Mother's Day when we went to the Alamo Steakhouse. The owner gave all mothers a free petite filet mignon dinner. It was the best food I have eaten at a steakhouse in a while and service was excellent. The home, Hidden Treasures was very nice and charming. A great get-away. We had several visits during the night from Mr. Raccoon. Loved the home.

Kiss Me Goodnight is an adorable cabin. This was the 2nd time staying here. It has everything needed to enjoy some R & R. We love the quiet area and the convenience of being close to Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg. We had 2 bears visit during our stay. The first one we watched from the upstairs window cross the road, the second walked up within feet of my husband while he was outside. IMO this little cabin is perfect for a couple’s getaway. It is one of our favorite properties that Heartland Cabin Rentals offers, we will definitely stay again. Great quiet little cabin for two close to everything. Keep in mind it is small and the bed is upstairs, but it had everything and was very cozy. We had an incredible time and it was also a chance for us to try living in a small space. We’ve decided to downsize and build a small home in form of a cabin. Kiss Me Goodnight was a nice cabin. We like staying in the Gnatty Branch Village w/Heartland Rentals. This was a pet friendly unit and served our needs well especially with our little dog. Liked the fact the hot tub was on the upper deck and was completely enclosed so we didn't' have to worry about her out on the deck with us.

This cabin was phenomenal. Bed is comfortable, view is lovely. Located close to both pigeon forge and Gatlinburg. This is my second time with Heartland and I will continue to rent through them. This was our second stay at kiss me goodnight.. /heartland rentals . We LOVE this company AND the cabin ! We have always stayed in gatlinburg at our fav hotel but due to adding a pet that we don't like to leave, we have stayed at a cabin the last 3 times. We come to the mtns 2x's a yr. the first cabin was thru a dif place and was a TERRIBLE exp from the cust ser to the cabin ! But everything from the first phone call to checking in to directions(which were spot on) to the beautiful CLEAN cabin thru heartland has been nothing but great both times !!!

The ONLY thing I wld like like dif, is a full size ironing board, but I'm that's just me personally!!! I'm an ironer!!! Lol

Pls tell the owners of kiss me goodnight, they have made it a perfect place... And we noticed they have done even more since Christmas !!!

Just the getaway we needed!

My fiance and I really needed to get out of town for a couple of nights, and this cabin was the perfect getaway. It was so cute and just the right size for us. We wanted to stay somewhere close to activities yet secluded enough that we had peace and quiet. Even though there were cabins close by, we felt like we had lots of privacy, and all we heard at night were the peeping tree frogs from the hot tub on our balcony. We decided to save some money by cooking at the cabin, and we had everything we needed. Something that was really important to us was that we could take our dogs with us, and we loved that this place was pet friendly. Our pups are very well behaved and stay in crates while we are gone, so we appreciated that we could enjoy our stay as responsible pet owners. The cabin was so clean, you could never tell that dogs had been in it before. It was honestly even better in person than in photos; we loved the extra touches like the electric fireplace in the bedroom, the doors in the loft that opened to the first floor, the cozy decor, all of the hooks and shelves to make ourselves feel at home, the porch swing and rocking chairs on the balcony. The best part was that gorgeous view in the morning!! We cannot wait to go back!

Additionally...we use the Gateway pass and it saved us so much money! We went to the Aquarium and played mini golf in the same day...used the free pass for one of us and bought a bundled pass at the Aquarium for the other person...cost us $40 for the bundled pass and we spent all day (about 5 hours total) between the two attractions.

First off the Smokey Mountains are breathtaking!!! Such a beautiful area to stay in and have a cabin. My husband and I stayed in the cabin Kiss Me Goodnight and we loved it. It was a small one bedroom cabin that was perfect for us!!! The cabin was in a nice location in the mountains. The cabin had pretty much everything we needed. The only thing I wish they would have had was wireless internet but other then that the cabin was great and the staff at Heartland Rentals were wonderful as well!!!! Kiss Me Goodnight was the perfect cabin for a relaxing weekend getaway.

I will definitely use Heartland Rentals for my next vacation rental in Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The cabin was clean and had all the amenities necessary for a few days stay in the mountains. At the end of our trip, we didn't want to leave because the cabin was such a peaceful escape.

We would recommend Heartland to any of our friends. Nice, clean and very comfortable. Kiss me Goodnight is so much more than just a motel room experience would have been.

A few of our friends and co-workers did indeed recommend staying in a cabin, not sure of which rental company but their advice was spot on. We really had a great time, our first to this area and we will return and rent from your company again. Perfect location, love the halfway between Gaitlinburg and Pigeon Forge location. That made getting around so simple for us.

We have a hot tub here at home so we didn't take advantage of the one with the cottage we rented. But for someone who doesn't have one it would be such a welcome treat. (How did they get that up there anyway, lol?)
