If you are looking for a cozy cabin to “play hooky” in, then you should take a peek at Playing Hooky, the newest addition to our one-bedroom Gatlinburg cabins! Playing Hooky is a newly constructed cabin, built this year, and is the perfect hideaway to forget about your everyday stresses and enjoy the peaceful scenery. The serenity of sitting on the deck and listening to the elements of nature around you will melt your stresses of 2022 immediately away. Bring your favorite person to play hooky with and hide out in a cabin in the woods where you’re sure to not be found. Enjoy grilling out on the back deck and listening to the relaxing sounds of the rippling stream. You may even get some woodland visitors right away! There is a mama Bear and her cubs that often spend time playing in the trees or on the hill above the cabin. **Please do not feed the bears under any circumstance. Also, keep your distance of a minimum of 50 to 100 yards from any bears. This safe viewing distance is recommended directly from the park service. You’ll want to keep your car doors locked as well as most black bears are quite good at opening car doors.** There is plenty of parking for your travel trailers if you wish to bring your ATVs, golf carts, jeeps, or motorcycles! Playing hooky is a couples-only cabin and is located in Wears Valley, TN. It is an 8-mile (14-minute) drive to Pigeon Forge and an 8-mile drive to Townsend.

Again, please do not feed the bears! This cabin is not pet or smoke friendly.
