Gatlinburg, TN’s newest addition, the Gatlinburg SkyTrail at our beloved Gatlinburg SkyLift Park was completed in 2020 and is a great location to view the Great Smoky Mountains! The Gatlinburg SkyTrail
The Gatlinburg SkyTrail is set to be a beautiful, scenic walkway. This new walkway will connect to each end of the SkyBridge. The Gatlinburg SkyTrail will offer guests the opportunity to stroll through the mountains seeing a completely new vantage point all while enjoying new views of the Gatlinburg SkyBridge. The SkyTrail will be only 1/3 of a mile and will be an easy, enjoyable walk for all ages and stages of life. There will even be a puppy trail in certain sections!
The Tower
In the back of the ravine, accessible by rope bridges, will be a steel tower featuring elevated viewing platforms. Being able to have different vantage points from every sector of the Gatlinburg SkyLift Park is beneficial in that it will offer more to those who may have limitations for typical hiking activities.
The Pathway
From the west end of the SkyBridge to the Lookout, there will be a walking path cut into the hillside. The views from here will offer eye-popping views of the Smoky Mountains from start to finish.
The Boardwalk
The Boardwalk is going to be an elevated wooden walkway that will lead along the ravine to the SkyDeck. This boardwalk will offer interactive signs and historical details about the original Gatlinburg SkyLift as well as construction and engineering processes used to create the dreamscape that it is today.
